We had a general question about college athletes. I am currently unemployed but hopeful that my son will get to play football next year in college. If he does get a scholarship, do colleges typically pay for Medical insurance or at least some kind of Temporary insurance during the season? You can pay others to do the work ..but it you post your questions to this Blog and want to do the work yourself you will save a lot of money. Here's a Carey Johnson Slide Show. I was looking for pics of Carey online and discovered bunches. He has got to be the most photographed H.S. athlete in NorCal. It got to the point that I had to quit uploading his pics ..just too many of them.

Phillip Hammer Defensive Line ..Del Campo H.S.

Phillip was so tough as a freshman they brought him up to J.V.'s ..he probably would have started on the varsity squad as a freshman if it wasn't forbidden by C.I.F. rules. He was All Conference and All Metro first team his senior season. Hammer is now starting defensive tackle at Grinnell College ..he is a freshman.
