We had a general question about college athletes. I am currently unemployed but hopeful that my son will get to play football next year in college. If he does get a scholarship, do colleges typically pay for Medical insurance or at least some kind of Temporary insurance during the season? Well I totally forgot I had this site. I guess I could start a blog now...lol. Well My name is Keri Schmidt and I am 17 years old. I play select/summer ball for the St.Louis Diamond Cats 18u/gold team. We are a first year 18u team. Last year we went 86-20-5. We outscored our opponets by around 350(can't remember the exact amount). Phillip Hammer Defensive Line ..Del Campo H.S.

Phillip was so tough as a freshman they brought him up to J.V.'s ..he probably would have started on the varsity squad as a freshman if it wasn't forbidden by C.I.F. rules. He was All Conference and All Metro first team his senior season. Hammer is now starting defensive tackle at Grinnell College ..he is a freshman.
