We had a general question about college athletes. I am currently unemployed but hopeful that my son will get to play football next year in college. If he does get a scholarship, do colleges typically pay for Medical insurance or at least some kind of Temporary insurance during the season? Johnell Murphy is All League RB and Has Been Selected MVP of the Delta Valley League

Phillip Hammer Defensive Line ..Del Campo H.S.

Phillip was so tough as a freshman they brought him up to J.V.'s ..he probably would have started on the varsity squad as a freshman if it wasn't forbidden by C.I.F. rules. He was All Conference and All Metro first team his senior season. Hammer is now starting defensive tackle at Grinnell College ..he is a freshman.
